BROOKE LEWIS of Greencastle graduated from Ball State University following the fall 2013 semester.

Lewis is the daughter of Wayne and Kathy Lewis.

Four Putnam residents were among the 3,400 students receiving degrees from Purdue University following the fall 2013 semester.

MITCHELL WALTON of Cloverdale earned a Bachelor of Science from the College of Technology.

LINCOLN GASTON of Cloverdale earned a Bachelor of Science from the College of Agriculture.

CHARLES WERNER of Coatesville earned a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

ANDREW HARRISON of Greencastle earned a Bachelor of Science from the College of Technology.

ALICE MOORE of Greencastle, a member of the class of 2016 at Washington and Lee University, has earned honor roll status for the recently ended winter term 2013.

Honor roll status at Washington and Lee represents a term grade-average of at least 3.75 on a 4.0 scale.

Six Putnam County residents were named to the Ball State University dean's list for the fall 2013 semester.

Local students on the list include CHAUNCEY BAKER of Cloverdale, LEANNA MASTERS of Greencastle, JESSICA ROSEMAN of Bainbridge, CARA STANLEY of Fillmore, CHELSEA VAUGHT of Roachdale and ELLEN WILBORN of Coatesville.

The dean's list honors students who earn at least a 3.5 grade point average for 12 or more credits of graded course work.

A number of Putnam County Students received dean's list honors from Purdue University for the fall 2013 semester.

To earn honors, students must have at least a 3.5 semester or cumulative grade point average on a four-point scale.

Dean's list honorees include CHRISTINA LEWARK of Bainbridge; JANNA OXFORD, JASON SALTER, CAMERON MANN, COURTNEY MANN, CEDAR MARIE WOODWORTH and ASHLEY BONIFIELD of Cloverdale; KATHRYN WELCH and CHARLES WERNER of Coatesville; IZAAK ZARING, DEVIN REED and JUSTIN MONTGOMERY of Fillmore; HILARY SCHROEDER, EMILY GILL, ERIK NORLIN, EMILY DEAN, KRISTEN HUTCHESON, RYAN STEVENS, ERIC DRAWBAUGH, ERIN MCCONKEY, ANDREW HARRISON, TAYLOR SMITH and DIANE WOKOUN; HANNAH ZEHNER and VALERIE SCOTT of Roachdale; and KRISTEN FORDICE, DAKOTA PARENT and JOSIE PARENT of Russellville.

The University of Indianapolis dean's list for the fall 2013 semester included TRAVIS STANIFER of Greencastle.

Stanifer is a 2011 graduate of South Putnam High School and is the son of Michael and Pattie Stanifer.

The junior also made the list last semester and has been an honor student since starting college.

Two South Putnam graduates were recently named to the fall 2013 semester dean's list at Anderson University.

DREW CASH and RACHEL EGOLD, both of Greencastle, met the requirements of earning a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Franklin College has announced its president's list and dean's list for the fall 2013 semester.

Students named to the president's list have achieved academic distinction by earning a 4.0 grade point average for the term.

BRODY CADE PERRINE, son of Mike Perrine and Cheen Zimmerman of Roachdale, achieved this high standard.

Additionally, two local students were also named to the dean's list, earning at least a 3.5 grade point average for the semester: KIMBERLY TESS HANDY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Handy of Greencastle, and CODY DONOVAN WARREN, son of Ron Warren and Tricia Warren, both of Reelsville.

Founded in 1834, Franklin College is a residential four-year undergraduate liberal arts institution with a scenic, wooded campus located 20 minutes south of downtown Indianapolis.

MELANIE BITTLES of Greencastle has been named to the Otterbein College dean's list for the fall 2013 semester.

Students must be full-time with a grade point average of at least 3.60 to qualify for the dean's list.

Otterbein is a private, co-educational, comprehensive liberal arts institution founded in 1847 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church. It is located in Westerville, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus.
