Banner Graphic: Who has had the biggest influence on you?

Jordan Nauert: My family. Definitely my family, my mom, my dad and my sister if I do not have anybody to go and play with outside Taylor will grab a basketball and play outside on the court, and my mom and dad for sending me to all of the camps and paying for AAU to play against better competition.

BG: How much of an effect have your teammates had on you?

JN: A ton. A ton, I am just glad that we can play as a team. They help me and I help them, if they do not do the things that they do I cannot do the things that I do and if I do not do what I do, they cannot do what they do. It is just a nice equal blend of things.

BG: What were your team and individual goals this year for basketball?

JN: We wanted to win conference, county and be over .500 this year. We have been over .500 but we did not win county or conference, but it was not that big of a deal. I just had so much fun. This year has been a lot different than any other year we have ever had. It's a lot of fun to play with these guys. There is no "I", we play as a team and it was really fun to play on it.

BG: What are some life lessons you have learned from sports?

JN: Probably the biggest life lesson would be if you want it go and get it. You have to work for everything you want.

BG: What was your summer basketball season like?

JN: We had practice three times a week and it was at Indy Sports facility in Avon. We practiced for two and a half hours and we would run drills and go up and down. On Saturdays and Sundays we would have tournaments in Fishers, Terre Haute, Noblesville and Carmel.

BG: What are your plans after high school?

JN: I am going to IUPUI and major in nursing.
