PCPL to host Indiana Kitefliers Society Thursday

The Putnam County Public Library is hosting the Indiana Kitefliers Society next Thursday from 2-3:30 p.m. This event will take the place of the usual Boomers and Beyond and is free and open to all ages.

The Indiana Kitefliers Society was formed in 1996 "to educate the public in the art, history, technology, and practice of building and flying kites and to advance kiting, its joys, and values."

They lead kite activities, kite workshops and kite demonstrations for various community events throughout Indiana.
