Reid Hudson

Reid Hudson, 27, of Carmel, Ind., passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at the family farm.

He was born Sept. 2, 1986, in Greencastle. He was the beloved son and is survived by his parents, Rick and Jan Ward of Crawfordsville.

Also surviving are his sister, Erin (Jared) Kritenbrink and their son Brecken of Carmel; his grandparents, Melvin and Arlene Ford of Roachdale, and grandmother, Jeanne Ward, of Lafayette; his uncle, Keith (Stephanie) Ford of Roachdale; his aunt, Nancy (Bill) Reece of Franklin, Tenn., and numerous close family members that loved him very much.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Ward.

Reid was a member of the First Christian Church in Crawfordsville.

He graduated from Crawfordsville High School and attended Purdue University. He recently graduated with his Associate's Degree in design technology from Ivy Tech.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9 at Roachdale Christian Church.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 10 at Roachdale Christian Church with John Nolan officiating. A private burial service will follow.
