Patriotic Employer Awards

Chalfin was honored for his understanding of the importance the Guard and Reserve to the well being of the nation, as well as Indiana, and moreover his support of Specialist Weimer, who serves in the Army National Guard voluntarily in addition to his career with the Indiana Department of Correction. Weimer began his career at PCF in 2013 as a correctional officer. Chalfin has been with PCF for more than 20 years. "The staff we have actively involved in the military, the veterans who are currently working for us, and those military personnel that have been employed by Putnamville Correctional Facility over the years make a difference in the successful functioning of this facility," PCF Superintendent Stanley Knight said.
