A 50-year-old Vigo County man was recovered from the bottom of Glenn Flint Lake Sunday morning after he fell from a fishing boat and did not resurface. He was retrieved by ICO divers and taken to the Putnam County Hospital.

James Camp, 50, Terre Haute, was fishing with another man in a fishing tournament.

His partner called 911 after the Camp did not resurface.

Indiana Conservation Officers responded to the scene. Four ICO divers conducted the search with additional officers on the surface with jon boats. One boat was equipped with a sonar unit.

Camp was not wearing a life jacket at the time he was found.

Indiana Conservation Officers are conducting an investigation on the incident but no foul play is suspected at this time.

Indiana Conservation Officers encourage all boaters to wear life jackets while on the water.

Responding agencies include: Putnam County Sheriff's Department, Clinton Township Fire Department, Floyd Township Fire Department and Putnam County Operation Life.
