She has two siblings Camryn Albers (13) and Brayden Morse (11). She is a softball player at North Putnam and her hobbies include photography and painting. Her favorite foods are Mexican and ice cream. A fun fact about her is that she has a golden retriever named Gunner and they are both red heads.

Banner Graphic: How has your experience been playing softball at North Putnam?

Morgan Albers: My experience has been great! I love all the girls and coaches I have played with the last four years and wouldn't trade them for anything.

BG: Being a senior, what has changed mentally in your head about the game?

MA: With this being my last year I played to make memories with my girls.

BG: What are your favorite memories from the game?

MA: My favorite memory would be hitting two home runs in one game against Cloverdale.

BG: Who has influenced you throughout your high school career?

MA: My parents were my biggest influences. They were at every game cheering me on and supporting me.

BG: How are you feeling about your last sectional?

MA: I feel good about our last sectional. We are definitely coming together as a team.

BG: What are your plans after high school?

MA: I plan to go to Ivy Tech then to IUPUI majoring in nursing.

BG: After you graduate and the younger players move forward, what do you hope they learned from you?

MA: Never get down on yourself and keep your heads up. I would want them to always play as hard as they can in every game.

BG: How does it feel to be a week away from graduation? Also, describe the success that your high school career has had.

MA: It feels unreal to be days away, but I am excited to see what the future brings.
