Brenda Sue Jones

Brenda Sue Jones, 69, Quincy, passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015 at her home in Quincy.

She was born on April 28, 1946 at the Marshal Browning Hospital in DuQuoin, Ill., to Oradell (Elshide) Siefert and George Siefert.

She was a 1964 graduate of Williamsport High School.

She was an employee at Purdue University and F.B. Distro.

She is survived by her life partner, Oran E. Jones Sr., Quincy; her son, Dennis Garner, Florida; her son and daughter-in-law, Clifton and Chrissy Garner, Roachdale; a daughter, Nancy Jones, Roachdale; a brother, Charles Siefert; a sister, Nancy Raplee; grandchildren Christopher, Monica, Brad, Anna, Kirby, Marley, Eden, Reagan, Quenton and Aly; and a great-grandchild, Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Oradell Siefert, and her brother, James Siefert.

A celebration of life will be held from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18 at the Bainbridge Community Building.
