Betty Lou Pursell Query

Betty Lou Pursell Query, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.

Born April 30, 1931 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Carl A. and Dorotha (Beck) Pursell.

She was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Betty was a homemaker and caregiver. She had also retired from Indianapolis Public Schools.

She was a member of the Moose Lodge and YWCA.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Sandy) Curts, Donna Rose (Kent) Kadel and Carol Anne (Mike) McClure; a sister, Freda Thrasher (Charles); a brother, Fred A. (Loretta) Pursell; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Carla Sue Reagan; brothers Bill and John Pursell and a great-granddaughter.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29 at Fillmore Cemetery with interment to follow.

Memorial contributions may be made in care of 1601 Spann Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
