Tuesday, December 1, 2015

BRIDGETON -- The Parke County town of Bridgeton will begin hosting the second weekend of its annual Country Christmas celebration this Friday.

Shops will be open from 10 a.m. through 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, followed by times of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Plenty of vendors, some of which made appearances at this year's Covered Bridge Festival, will be joining new vendors for a weekend packed full of Christmas fun.

Kids may visit Santa inside the 1822 Case Log Cabin on both Saturday and Sunday from 1-3 p.m.

The folks in Bridgeton would like to invite everyone out to enjoy a chicken and noodle dinner at Collom's General Store, as well as a hot chili dinner at the Olde School House. Patrons can visit the Mill for organic stone-ground products at the 1878 House and purchase gifts, antiques and a myriad of collectibles at the 1822 Case Log Cabin.

Furthermore, visitors can listen to Christmas music and enjoy the lights and decorations that have been placed throughout the town.
