Latest strays at the animal shelter

Here are the latest stray animals currently held at the Putnam County Animal Care and Control Shelter, 4700 E. State Road 240 (phone 653-1943).

-- Dog: Adult, male, white/tan/black terrier mix, found in Greencastle. This dog is microchipped, but calls and e-mails to the owner went unanswered.

To claim an animal, you must present proof of ownership.

Public hours at the shelter are 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
