Sophie Marie Judy

Sophie Marie Judy, of Roachdale, died on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Indianapolis.

Sophie was born in Lebanon, on Feb. 23, 2016, the daughter of Erick Colby and Rebecca Anne (Summers) Judy. Her parents called her "the greatest gift God could have given us and although she be but little, she was fierce!"

Survivors include her parents, Colby and Becky Judy of Roachdale; grandparents Rick and Teresa Judy of Greencastle and Mike and Debbie Summers of Ladoga; great-grandparents Nora Miller of Greencastle, Gerald and Linda Coffman of Thorntown and Roberta Summers of Lebanon; uncles and aunts Nicole and Cory Fordice of Russellville, Max A. and Christie Summers of Ladoga and Ashlie and Matt Hacker of Westfield; and three cousins too beautiful for earth and five rambunctious, loving cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Jim Hilburn, Pete and Linda (Hilburn) Patterson and Max E. Summers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Roachdale Christian Church, 1 N. Walnut St., Roachdale. Visitation is planned for Thursday, April 14 from 3-8 p.m. at the church.
