Bainbridge car show postponed to Sept. 10

BAINBRIDGE -- A car show fundraiuser scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 20 at Bainbridge has been postponed until Saturday, Sept. 10, organizers announced Thursday.

The threat of rain and thunderstorms has forced the postponement since most classic car owners don't like their prized vehilces out in the rain.

The car show fundraiser, to be staged on the grounds of the Bainbridge Community Center, will see gates open at 10 a.m.

Proceeds from the car show will benefit the Bainbridge Improvement Society and the Town of Bainbridge.

Organizers offered their apologies for the inconvenience of rescheduling.
