Youth football team to play at Lucas Oil Stadium Sunday

The South Putnam youth football team, consisting of players from both the “Youth” and “Rookies” leagues, will be playing an exhibition football game at Lucas Oil Stadium ahead the Colts’ season opener on Sunday. With practices held at Central Elementary School near South Putnam High School, the team, which consists of first and second-grade students from both Central and Fillmore elementaries, has seen a perfect record thus far, winning four games over area opponents from districts like Monrovia, Cascade, Owen Valley and beyond.
