Eight Putnam County students were among the 665 named to the Ivy Tech Community College Central Indiana dean’s list for the summer of 2016.

Putnam County students included DARA EISMAN and PATE WALTER of Bainbridge; DANIEL GRUNDLOCK of Coatesville; WILLIAM CRUSE of Fillmore; MISTY DAVIS, LEWIS BAKER and TAYLOR VANSICKLE of Greencastle and NAKOA SUARTANA of Reelsville.

The dean’s list recognizes any degree-seeking student who has earned 12 or more credit hours during his or her studies at Ivy Tech, is enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours during the term and earns a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

One Putnam County student recently graduated from Ball State University following the summer term.

MICHAEL NICHOLS of Coatesville was awarded a Bachelor of Arts.

ERIN MACE of Greencastle was named to the summer dean’s list at Ball State University.

The summer dean’s list recognizes undergraduates who earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for six or more credits of graded course work during a summer term.
