New Life Baptist invites public ‘Back to Church’ on Sunday

New Life Baptist Church is partnering in a national movement calling everyone “Back to Church.”

The prayer is for people who have never attended church or who once attended church but don’t anymore to come to church on Sunday, Sept. 18.

This week has an extra significance, as New Life began to meet together in Greencastle 23 years ago in the basement of the U.S. Department of Agriculture building on U.S. 231.

Since that beginning the congregation has moved locations to meet their needs. In 1997, they built on their current location at 51 Ridgeway St.

The church family invites the public to worship, grow and serve with them every week for Sunday school at 9 a.m. and worship at 10:15.

There is an extra special day planned. Come to church and stay for lunch.
