Library plans food sampler event Nov. 15

The Putnam County Public Library invites everyone to join in sampling plant-based foods at its “Try It, You’ll Like It” food sampler/lunch program on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

The free program is scheduled from 11:30 a.m to 1 p.m. at the library, 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle.

Constance Ferry, herbalist and owner of Hobbit Gardens in Fillmore, will demonstrate how to make a plant-based dish.

A plant-based cookbook raffle is also scheduled.

Anyone who would like to bring a favorite vegetarian/vegan dish to share at the event is asked to contact Barbara Timm at btimm@pcpl21.org, call 765-653-2755 x 104 and leave a message, or sign up at the library circulation desk.
