Turkey Trot set for Thanksgiving morning

The annual Turkey Trot beginning from the All American Karate Academy is set for 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving day, Thursday, Nov. 24.

This fun run/walk/trot is for health and the community. It is not a race. All participants are invited to go their own distance and pace.

Starting from the academy at 1021D Indianapolis Rd., the event goes as far as Big Walnut Sports Park and back. Participants may turn around at any point to keep their walk or run at their own distance.

The only entry fee is a non-perishable item to donate to the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry. Even those who cannot participate are invited to take food pantry items to All American Karate Academy or Putnam County Comprehensive Services.
