Wilda E. Wray

Wilda E. Wray, 91, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, Jan 11, 2017.

Born Oct. 23, 1925 in Clinton Township of Putnam County, she was the daughter of Earl Everett and Mabel (Martin) Evens.

She was a 1943 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Wilda retired from Walmart Distribution Center, where she worked part-time in the marking room. She had also worked at the Angwell Curtain Factory and Castle Shade for 25 years.

She was a member of the Fillmore United Methodist Church; UMW; Greencastle Order of Eastern Star; and a charter member of Boondock Pals Extension Homemakers Club.

She is survived by her sister, Reva Bundy; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Lloyd Wray; sister, Imogene Boswell; and five brothers, Robert, Marion Dale, Gareld, Ronald and Earl W. Evens.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Wilda's memory to the donor's favorite charity.
