Sheldon - 50th Anniversary

The family of Steve “Larry” and Karen Sheldon of Greencastle is hosting a 50th anniversary open house reception from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4 at Myers’ 5 East, located at 5 E. Franklin St., Greencastle.

Steve and Karen were married at Hanna Street Baptist Church in Greencastle on Jan. 27, 1967 by Norman Hill.

Steve is the son of the late Herschel and Mary Ann Sheldon of Greencastle.

Karen is the daughter of Elinor Buis of Greencastle and James Akins of Florida.

Steve is retired from Lone Star/Buzzi after 42 years. Karen is a secretary at Ridpath Primary School, celebrating her 30th anniversary there.

They are the proud parents of Kim Sheldon of Mishawaka and Jeramy Sheldon of Greencastle.
