County Jail

Six people were booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

• At 10:29 p.m. Clynt Allen Agee, 26, Cloverdale, was lodged at the jail for unauthorized absence from home detention.

• At 3:36 p.m. Stanley Eugene McKinney, 35, Bainbridge, was taken into custody for residential entry, criminal trespass, criminal mischief and on a pair of local warrants.

• At 2:27 p.m. David Blare Albietz, 33, Cloverdale, was housed at the jail on a writ of body attachment.

• At 2:07 p.m. George Ronald Cross, 33, Indianapolis, was arrested on a local warrant.

• At 11:27 p.m. Robert Joe Delano, 32, Brazil, was booked in on a local warrant.

• At 1:56 p.m. Joshua Wade Oliver, 20, Roachdale, was charged with driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department recently responded to six dispatches.

• At 1:08 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD responded to a fire alarm at 24 S. Indiana St. The cause of the alarm was unable to be determined. GFD subsequently reset the alarm before returning to station.

• At 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD responded to reports of a car fire at 65 Martinsville St. The owner of the vehicle happened to already have an extinguisher in the vehicle and nearly extinguished the flames up GFD’s arrival. GFD saw to the completion of the extinguishment and returned to station.

• At 11:26 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD responded to reports of a dumpster fire at the Castlebury Apartment complex. It was unclear how the fire started but GFD saw to its extinguishment before returning to station.

• At 10:42 a.m. on Wednesday, GFD responded to a motor-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. 231 and County Road 100 North. A driver collided with a tree and was given medical assistance at the scene. GFD saw to the removal or debris and fluids from the roadway before returning to station.

• At 2:14 p.m. on Thursday, GFD responded to a fire alarm with an unknown cause at 905 S. College Ave. GFD was unable to determine the cause of the alarm and subsequently reset the alarm before returning to station.

• At 6:06 p.m. on Thursday, GFD responded to a fire alarm due to cooking at 109 W. Hanna St.
