Donald Keith Cline

Donald Keith Cline, 82, of Charlotte, N.C., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 at Levine and Dickson - Southminster in Charlotte.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Heritage Funeral Home, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive in Matthews, N.C.

He was born Sept. 22, 1934 in Putnam County, Ind., to the late Maurice and Julia Cline.

He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and later retired as a systems analyst with IBM Corp.

He cherished his family and all time spend with them. In addition he was a Mason and enjoyed coin collecting.

His survivors include his wife of 59 years, Barbara, of Charlotte; daughters Tanya Tincher (Michael Hartje) of Charlotte, Michelle Knose (Martin Partin) of Greenfield, and Rhonda Crooks of Hickory, N.C.; grandchildren Ryan Tincher, Tim Cline, Kimberly Downing (Wyatt) and Samantha Crooks.

He was preceded by his granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Tincher, and three brothers.
