Tweedie photos to get museum exposure Saturday
Sunday, April 2, 2017
On Saturday, April 8, the Putnam County Museum will present Putnam Travels, an Icelandic travelogue with local photographer Lynne Tweedie.
Known as “The Land of Fire and Ice,” Iceland is home to both some of the largest glaciers in Europe, and some of the most active volcanoes in the world.
Many residents have seen Tweedie’s photos at the Farmers Market, Conspire and the Museum gift shop. While sharing her impressions and experiences of Iceland, Tweedie will show her best photographic mementos of the volcanic island nation.
Museum doors open at 10 a.m. at 1105 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.
Tweedie’s virtual visit program is free and open to the public and starts at 11 a.m.
