The Putnam County Museum invites local residents to relive the Sunday dinner experience of the Old Trail Inn on Sunday, Aug. 6 at the museum, 1105 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.

Reservations for the 1 p.m. dinner are $20 per person, available at the museum and Myers’ Market in Greencastle.

“The museum has been fortunate in acquiring original Old Trail Inn recipes,” museum Executive Director Lisa Mock said. “The Myers family tested these recipes, and now, it’s your turn to take a trip down memory lane or make new memories of good times and great food.”

Catered by Myers’ Market, using original Old Trail Inn recipes, the wait staff will serve a family-style menu that will include relish tray, appetizer juice, sweet rolls, fried chicken, swiss steak, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans, harvard beets, wilted lettuce salad, devil’s food cake and Mexican wedding cakes.

Seating is limited and it is anticipated tickets will go fast. Tickets are available at the museum and from Myers’ Market until Aug. 1.

The event is a fundraiser for the Putnam County Museum. For more information, persons may call the museum at 653-8419.
