County Jail

Nine people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Wednesday

• At 10:24 p.m. Justin Michael Hall, 27, Poland, was housed at the jail on a Johnson County warrant.

• At 10:07 p.m. Johnathon Colin Kashman, 22, Rushville, was booked in on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 3:18 p.m. Cody Austin Batchelor, 22, Greencastle, was taken into custody for theft and criminal trespass.

• At 1:18 a.m. Hailey Jo Wright, 25, Greencastle, was booked in for false informing, possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction.

Tuesday

• At 12:51 p.m. Edward Gregory Klemmer, 24, Denver, was lodged at the jail for possession of marijuana, visiting a common nuisance and reckless possession of paraphernalia.

• At 12:07 p.m. Danny Joe Heidrick, 29, Spencer, was taken into custody for theft and on a local warrant.

• At 11:34 a.m. Matthew Alan Rolland, 41, Noblesville, was housed at the jail on a court order.

• At 11:02 a.m. Robert Allen VanSickle, 45, Rockville, was booked in on two counts of theft, criminal trespass and criminal mischief.

• At 9:07 a.m. Tracey Wayne Burk, 48, Poland, was lodged at the jail on a parole hold.

City Police

Two arrests were reported Wednesday by Greencastle City Police officers

• At 4:35 p.m. Brittany Leanne Henry, 25, Harker Heights, Texas, was arrested at the Greencastle Walmart store by Capt. Chris Jones.

Arrested for theft and lodged in the Putnam County Jail, Henry allegedly took $31.92 worth of merchandise, including food and motor oil.

Henry reportedly concealed the food items in her purse.

She allegedly took the motor oil from the automotive department and tried to turn it in for a refund at the front desk.

• At 2 a.m., Troy Dean Kennedy, 49, Cloverdale, was arrested on five charges by Officer Luke Brown after being stopped Wednesday on Indianapolis Road.

Kennedy was lodged at the jail for dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction.

Kennedy, who was lodged in the Putnam County Jail on those five charges, was also issued a summons to appear in court for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.
