Heroes’ Tree for veterans at PCPL

Thursday, November 30, 2017

The Putnam County Public Library is recognizing veterans this holiday season with a Heroes’ Tree.

The public is invited to create homemade ornaments in honor of service members -- either a specific veteran or service members in general -- which can be hung on the Heroes’ Tree located in the library lobby.

Ornaments can be personalized with photographs or other memorabilia, and then brought to the library, 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle, on or after Dec. 5.

The tree will remain in the library throughout the holiday season in recognition of current and past service members and their families.
