Cletus 'Shawn' Weaver

Cletus "Shawn" Weaver, 55, Quincy, a longtime Morgan County resident, passed from this life on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born Thursday, Sept. 6, 1962 in Martinsville, Ind., to Cletus D. and Wilma J. (Hatton) Weaver.

Shawn was an avid outdoorsman, Colts, IU and Pacer fan. He also enjoyed NASCAR.

Prior to becoming disabled, he worked as a press operator for Casting Technology in Franklin.

On July 17, 1999, he married his loving wife, Tammy J. (Fletcher) Weaver. She survives, living in Quincy.

He also leaves behind his parents, Cletus D. and Wilma J. Weaver, of Quincy; sons Shawn Weaver of Georgia, Todd (Danielle) Weaver and Steven Weaver of Greenwood, Tyler Egans and wife of Martinsville, Derek (Krimson) Weaver of Florida and Jacob Weaver of Quincy; daughter Stephanie Nicole Hayden (Kevin Smith) of Greenwood; sisters Kathy Kershaw of Illinois, Deana Jean (Dean) Scott of Quincy and Betsey Ellen Kershaw of Little Point; stepdaughters, Tanya Crabtree (Ben) of Boswell, Heather Anderson (Jake) of Oxford and Lorina Crabtree (Justin) of Hoopeston, Ill.; five grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, Jan. 9 from 3-6 p.m. at Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center in Martinsville.

A service celebrating Shawn's life will begin Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

In honoring Shawn's wishes he will be cremated following the service.
