First Legislative Update of year set this Saturday
The Legislative Update series will make its 2018 debut Saturday, Jan. 20 when the Putnam County Farm Bureau hosts its first session of the new year.
The program is scheduled to feature the three men who represent Putnam County in the Indiana General Assembly now under way at Indianapolis -- District 44 State Rep. Jim Baird (R-Greencastle), District 37 State Sen. Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) and District 24 State Sen. John Crane (R-Avon).
The 8 a.m. public program will be conducted in the board room of the Putnam County Farm Bureau office, 1001 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.
Subsequent Legislative Update sessions are scheduled for Feb. 17 and March 17, which are the third Saturdays of each month.
Putnam County Farm Bureau President Steve Cash serves as moderator.
Cinnamon rolls and coffee will be provided.
