Mary Irene Williams

Mary Irene Williams, 93, of Poland, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 at Mill Pond Health Campus.

Born June 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Mary (Schroer) Rubeck.

Mary married Harvey Williams, and he preceded her in death.

Mary worked for many years at Kattman's Store. Then went on to work for many years at Cloverdale Community Schools, retiring from there.

She loved her family, gardening and reading. She will be missed by many.

She left behind her daughters, Joyce Fislar and her husband Fred of Cloverdale, and Julia Hunter and her husband John of Poland; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Howard Rubeck, and sister Marjorie Dreher.

A graveside service for Mary will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30 at the Zion Cemetery in Poland.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
