Putnam Scanner for Feb. 28, 2018

Three people were recently booked into the Putnam County Jail.

Monday

• At 5:26 p.m., Christopher L. Sutton, 41, of Cloverdale, was lodged at the jail on a court order.

• At 2:24 p.m., Morgan L. Roush, 35, of Kirkland, was booked into the jail on a local warrant.

• At 2:05 p.m., William D. Woods, 34, of Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

Sheriff’s Department

Sheriff’s deputies responded to one recent property-damage accident.

Monday

• At 6:28 a.m., Carla M. Smith, 47, of Brazil, was eastbound on County Road 125 South near Greencastle in a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country when she hit a deer.

Deputy Robert Soilleux estimated damage at $10,000-$25,000. There were no injuries.
