Putnam County Jail

Seven people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Monday

• At 11:09 a.m., Robert Lee Jones, 39, Greencastle, was booked in on a Putnam County warrant.

• At 1:24 a.m., Justin Wayne Lewis, 28, Fillmore, was lodged in the jail for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Sunday

• At 5:06 a.m., Jason David Grimes, 33, Greencastle, was lodged in the jail on two counts (Level 6 felony and C misdemeanor) of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was also held on charges of operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent (ACE) of .08 percent or greater.

• At 12:18 a.m., Nicholas Adam Maga, 37, Indianapolis, was booked into the jail on a Putnam County warrant.

Saturday

• At 12:58 p.m., David Lee Jones Jr., 40, Brazil, was incarcerated on two counts of driving with a suspended license.

• At 6:16 a.m., Isaac Scott Trent, 19, Rockville, was lodged in the jail for possession of alcohol by a minor and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Friday

• At 5:57 p.m., Cody Ryan Thomas, 29, Danville, Ill., was booked in on a Putnam County warrant.

City Police

One weekend arrest was reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 6:46 p.m. Sunday, Taureen Kyron Terry, 36, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Luke Brown on the city’s East Side.

Taken into custody on Indianapolis Road near Percy Julian Drive, Terry was booked into the Putnam County Jail on two counts of criminal trespass involving his reported illegal presence on the McDonald’s and Speedway Gas properties.
