Helen Inez (Alexander) Lawrence, 83, joined her husband, Donald Eugene Lawrence, in their Heavenly home on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018.

Helen was a long-time resident of Greencastle. She and Don met on a blind date in 1954, and wed in 1955.

She (they) are survived by their daughters, Cynde (Skip) Frederick and Cheri (Gene) Grable; grandchildren Nichalas (Ashlee) Frederick, Angela (Russ) Smethwick, Jared (Kelly) Grable, Brad (Heather) Grable and Ryan (Joel) Grable, and 12 very loved great-grandchildren.

Helen graduated from Howe High School in Indianapolis, and was a member of Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church.

Graveside services and burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 11 at 10 a.m.
