Taking his place as South Putnam 2018-19 Winter Homecoming King, Darnell Bennett smiles with escort Drew Bratcher Friday evening. Bennett was crowned in between games of the WIC West doubleheader in which the Eagles split a pair of games with rival Greencastle. The Lady Tiger Cubs took the girls’ contest 49-35. Meanwhile, the Eagle boys’ pulled away late for a 56-46 win.
