North Putnam won the Putnam County girls' junior varsity basketball championship on Saturday.

Chase Ashcraft of Cloverdale and Isaiah Lacey of Indian Creek were honored as recipients of the All-Academic Award at the Hoosier Invitational, played last Friday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

DePauw women’s basketball coach Kris Huffman (left) was presented with a ball on Saturday commemorating her recent 600th victory with the Tigers. DePauw athletic director Stevie Baker-Watson made the presentation.
