Roselyn Ann Anderson

Roselyn Ann (Ferrand) Anderson, 89, of Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 at Parkwood Healthcare in Lebanon.

She was born in Williamsport, Ind., on April 23, 1929 to the late William Leslie and Naomi Ellen (Butcher) Ferrand.

Roselyn graduated from Greencastle High School in 1948, and on Sept. 9, 1948 she married the love of her life, Harold L. Anderson, who preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 2012.

Throughout the years she worked at General Telephone, Indiana Bell Telephone, was a sales clerk at JC Penney's in Crawfordsville, and was a devout Christian, loving mother and homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crawfordsville.

She is survived by four sons, Gary (Kathy Swinford) Anderson of Lebanon, Lloyd Douglas (Susan) Anderson of Leander, Texas, Steven (Debbie) Anderson of Crawfordsville and Gordon (Ann Marie Norman) Anderson of Brownsburg; six grandchildren, Michelle, Stacy, Shannon, Nicolle, Whitney, Amanda and Hannah, and four great-grandchildren, Ryann, Luke, Izabella, Alaina and Lucinda.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold; a sister, Martha Jones; and a grandson, Jason Anderson, a Marine Corps veteran.

Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S. Washington St. in Crawfordsville on Friday, March 1 from 5-8 p.m.

The funeral service will be Saturday, March 2 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Isaac Zull officiating. Burial will follow at Brick Chapel Cemetery near Greencastle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the First Baptist Church, 1905 Lebanon Rd., Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
