Rev. Harvey A. Stringer

Rev. Harvey A. Stringer, 68, Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019.

He was born Dec. 28, 1950 in Greencastle, to Clyde K. and Julia N. Stringer.

Harvey proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a graduate of the Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo.

He married Belinda A. Suddarth on June 6, 1975 and was the Pastor of Indianapolis Baptist Tabernacle for the past 29 years.

Visitation will be today, Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at Indianapolis Baptist Tabernacle, 2718 S. Ritter Ave.

Harvey is survived by his loving wife of nearly 44 years, Belinda A. Stringer; son Rev. R.T. Stringer (Karen); daughter Heather A. Biddinger (Rev. Ryan); grandchildren Cameron, Hannah, Emma, Olivia, Belle and Keri; father, Clyde K. Stringer; sister Samantha Stringer; and one foster grandchild.

Harvey’s mother, Julia N. Stringer; and a brother, Clyde K. Stringer, Jr., preceded him in death.
