Elizabeth Ann Judy

Elizabeth Ann Judy, 90, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019 at Mill Pond Health Campus.

She was born March 6, 1929 in Putnam County, the daughter of Nelson and Carrie (Fowler) Carmichael and was a 1947 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Elizabeth was a customer service representative with Farm Bureau Insurance for 33 years, retiring in 1993 and continuing to work part time until 2001.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Thomas S. Judy, on Aug. 2, 2019, parents, two great-grandsons and a great granddaughter.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, William N. Judy of Greencastle, Vicki Lynn Steele of Portland, Ore., Gary Judy and wife Gene Ann of Greencastle and Steve Judy and wife Debi of Hayfield, Minn.; sister Patty Phillips of Arizona; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth requested cremation with no additional services to be scheduled. Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
