City Democrats to host candidate meet-and-greet

With the November municipal election approaching, the Putnam County Democratic Party will host a meet-and-greet with Greencastle city candidates on Sunday, Sept. 15.

The pitch-in meal will take place from 3-5 p.m. at Robe-Ann Park Shelter No. 2.

The 2019 Democrat candidates for city office include Bill Dory for mayor, Adam Cohen for council First Ward, Veronica Pejril for council Third Ward, Steve Snyder for council Fourth Ward and Matt Cummings, Gary Lemon and Dave Murray for council at-large.

Incumbents Dory and Cohen are both unopposed in their bids for another term, though all other candidates have opponents in their races.

Lemon and Murray are also incumbents.
