Kerry Gene Hutcheson

Kerry G. Hutcheson, 65, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, surrounded by his family.

He was born Feb. 21, 1954 in Greencastle, the son of Marvin E. and Myra Jane (Twigg) Hutcheson.

He was a 1972 graduate of South Putnam High School.

Kerry had owned and operated Kerry Hutcheson Builders.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Adams) Hutcheson; daughters, Amy Hicks and Lauren (Joey) Lehman; stepdaughters Leslie (Kelley) Young, Mindy (Vernon) Kirkwood and Christy (Gary) Webb; brothers Gregory (Suzanne) Hutcheson, Phillip (Becky) Hutcheson, Kirk (Mona) Hutcheson and David (Lisa) Hutcheson; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and uncle, Frank Hutcheson.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 at 4 p.m. at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.

Family and friends are invited to a fellowship dinner at the Putnamville Baptist Church, 639 E. U.S. 40, Putnamville, following services at 5 p.m.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
