A Tuesday morning crash in Monroe Township slowed traffic at the intersection of U.S. 231 and U.S. 36. However, it seems that no one was seriously injured.

Shortly after 8 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the 9-Mile area near Detro Trailers for a crash which involved two vehicles.

Both appeared to have sustained front-end damage, but this seemed to be the extent of the impact.

The Walnut Creek Fire Protection District was called to the scene, as well as Operation Life and RMH Ambulance.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Department, as well as the Indiana State Police, were directing traffic as of 8:20 a.m. while the damaged vehicles were being removed from the roadway.

The west side of U.S. 236 was reduced to one lane, though traffic was still able to move through the intersection.

Ron's Wrecker Service was called to tow the vehicles.
