Janice Rene McCullough

Janice Rene McCullough, 40, of Indianapolis passed away on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020.

Janice was born in Indianapolis on July 29, 1979, the daughter of Michael L. and Janice Marie (Ferris) Kortz.

Janice Liked flowers and she always enjoyed helping her father work outside.

Survivors include her father and mother, Michael and Kitty Kortz; five children, Cheyanne, Christopher, Cassie and Shelby McCullough and Cameron Maidwell, all of Indianapolis; brother Uriah Kortz of Fillmore; three sisters, Mary Ann Ferguson and Stacy Embry, both of Indianapolis, and Amy Wallace of Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother; two sisters, Shelby Kortz and Annie Benefiel; and brother Michael Kortz.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March 6 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Kortz officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service on Friday.

At her request a cremation will take place at a later date.
