Service with a Smile

Tuesday, March 17, 2020
Aiming to ensure that students have food during the closures prompted by the COVID-19 spread, South Putnam staff conducted their first day of handing out breakfasts and lunches Tuesday morning. Assistant Principal Tona Gardner brings out some bags to a family in their car, with Food Service Director Lori Boyce right behind carrying a box of sack meals.

Meanwhile, Principal Levi Yowell loads another box. Grab-and-go meals will be available to South Putnam families through Friday behind South Putnam High School and in front of Fillmore Elementary School. The other county school corporations have taken similar steps with providing food service during the week.
