North Putnam Schools extend spring break

Friday, March 20, 2020

North Putnam students perhaps got a bit of good news recently as they come off of a week of e-learning.

In a letter sent out to parents Thursday evening, Superintendent Nicole Singer announced that spring break would be extended another week in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Singer added that the week of March 30 through April 3 would be made up of waiver days granted by the state. As such, no e-learning will be done during this period.

However, students are still expected to turn in e-learning work completed this week on or before March 30, the end of the principle week set aside for spring break.

I have thanked you many times the last few days, but thank you again, Singer concluded in the letter. I cannot tell you enough how proud I am to be a part of such an amazing community.
