John Steven Brasher

John Steven Brasher, 67, of Greencastle, passed away at his residence on April 5, 2020 surrounded by his family.

John was born in Muncie on June 13, 1952, the son of William and Audrey (Bostick) Brasher, and was a graduate of Muncie Central High School.

Mr. Brasher worked for many years with Youth Opportunity Center of Muncie.

Survivors include his wife, Karla Brasher; a son, John Brasher Jr. (wife Gretchen); a stepdaughter, Kellie Buis; two nephews, Leonard Dishman and Steve Brasher; his father-in-law, Sam Goad; and several nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Brasher Jr. and David Brasher; a sister, Flora Jane Mertz; and a mother-in-law, Uldene Goad.

The family will plan a memorial service at a later date.
