Missing Plainfield girl may be in Greencastle

Sarah Cromwell is a 15-year-old runaway from Plainfield who may have been spotted in Greencastle.

A 15-year-old girl missing from Plainfield is believed to possibly be in Greencastle.

Sarah Cromwell, 15, resides in the Hendricks County town but may have been spotted in the area of Locust Street in Greencastle, traveling on foot.

The Plainfield Police Department Investigations Branch is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the runaway juvenile, the department shared late Friday night.

No details about Cromwell’s appearance were shared, other than a photo.

Anyone who has information regarding Cromwell’s whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Wennen with the Plainfield Police Department via Email: nwennen@plainfieldpd.org or call the Hendricks County Communications Center at 317-839-8700.

Hate to be cruel. But she is a runaway. Possibly out spreading the coronavirus to others.

You have no idea what circumstances this girl is in that might have led to her current situation. It’s better to be silent and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.
