Take One

With keeping social distance in mind, administrators at South Putnam High School gave its class of 2020 the opportunity to receive their diploma Tuesday. Victoria Huff smiles walking across the stage as Guidance Director Brian Gardner reads her name and Assistant Principal Zach Love (far right) claps.

Meanwhile, Levi Girton poses with Principal Levi Yowell to take pictures. In a humorous moment, Girton repeated his walk a second time because his tassel was on the wrong side of his mortarboard. South Putnam’s graduates will be honored with a drive-in event at the high school on Saturday, which will include a parade and the class being presented to Superintendent Bruce Bernhardt.

  • Glad to see South Putnam step up to try to make the 2020 class a ending to remember.
