Betty Jean Monnett

Betty Jean Monnett, age 90, of Cloverdale, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

Betty was born Aug. 27, 1929 to the late Lawrence and Edna (Routt) Cummings.

She married Claude Monnett Sept. 22, 1949 and he preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1996.

She is survived by her sons, Keith Monnett and wife Christina, Dana Monnett and wife Terry, Dale Monnett and wife Janet, Russell Monnett and wife Kelly; daughter Linda Bond; bonus son Vernon Bothwell; sisters Audra Vickroy, Shirley Brewer, Faye Gaddis, Sharon Mannan; brother Dennis Cummings; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by two brothers, Bob Cummings and Ted Cummings.

Funeral services for Betty will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time of 1 p.m. on Saturday.
