Annual Fair Board meeting set Sept. 30

The annual Putnam County Fair Board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28. in the York Automotive Community Building at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

The evening will include annual business and the election of directors. Due to COVID, the pitch-in dinner portion has been canceled.

Annual dues are $1 and are waived for current 4-H members.

Township director positions up for election are Cloverdale, Franklin, Jackson, Madison, Marion, Monroe and Warren that serve two-year terms as well as eight at-large director positions serving one-year terms. Anyone interested may contact Shea Mahoney-Sutherland at sheams2015@gmail.com.

Due to COVID, social distancing will be required and masks are required when social distancing cannot be met.
