Richard L. ‘Joby’ Cline

Richard L. “Joby” Cline, 86, Belle Union, passed away Wednesday evening, Sept. 23, 2020 at Asbury Towers in Greencastle.

He was born in Jefferson Township, Putnam County, on March 31, 1934, the son of Roscoe and Ruth Slavens Cline.

Joby was a meat cutter for Kroger in Greencastle for 35 years and retired in 1996.

He is survived by his children, Richard L. (Vickie) Cline Jr. of Cloverdale, Rodney (Mindy) Cline of Belle Union and Cindy (Mark) Wager of Greencastle; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his wife Betty Cline, son Randy Cline and sister Darlene Bittle.

Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Bousley Funeral Home in Coatesville. Graveside services will follow at Walnut Chapel Cemetery. www.bousleyfuneralhome.com
