Community trick-or-treating hours set

Individual Putnam County communities have established trick-or-treating hours for Halloween this coming Saturday.

Specific times for each community are as follows:

• Fillmore: 6-8 p.m.

• Russellville: 6-8 p.m.

• Cloverdale: 5-8 p.m.

• Greencastle: 6-8 p.m. in the neighborhoods

• Bainbridge: 6-8 p.m.

• Roachdale: 6-8 p.m.

• Heritage Lake: 6-8 p.m.

As is the custom locally, residents welcoming trick-or-treaters are urged to turn on their porch light during these times. Likewise, revelers are asked to skip homes without a light on.

There will also be two trunk-or-treat events held. Businesses will host one at Big Walnut Sports Park in Greencastle from 4-6 p.m., and Roachdale Christian Church will have one from 6-8 p.m.

All trick-or-treaters are encouraged to practice social distancing.
